This time we are looking at the increased use of artificial intelligence in tourism.
It is not difficult to imagine increased tourism in the Westfjords, it is already our reality that a great increase has and will continue to occur.
We want to look at how these powerful AI tools will benefit us in doing EVEN better in the services we want to provide.
Startup Westfjords 2024 will take place in Icelandic but some lectures will be in English.

Participation in Startup Westfjords costs 30.000 ISK and included in that price is the entire program, as well as lunch and drinks all days. Travel expenses, accommodation and other such are at the expense of each participant.
Individuals and small teams can apply.
Confirmation and participation fee is ISK 30,000.
What is there to do?
If you are selected for the accelerator, you will have access to work facilities at the Blue bank, the community and entrepreneurship center in Þingeyri. Experienced consultants from different areas of expertise will help us move the project forward. Throughout the weekend, consultants will have lectures in the morning that develop into a conversation about your project. In between, there will be time to work independently in the Blue bank's workspace and take part in the countless inspiring things that can be done in Þingeyri. You will have the opportunity to connect with yourself, the environment and other participants in a unique environment. We love to receive enthusiasts. The Blue bank, on the other hand, does not invest directly in projects. The days and evenings are not planned to the fullest, apart from optional events, so you need to be self-driven and make the most of this opportunity.
